In today’s modern world Renewable power is at boom because many non-renewable energy sources can endanger the environment or human health. As innovation brings down costs and starts to deliver on the promise of a clean energy future, majority of companies and individuals are utilizing renewable sources of energy.
A question arises here is Why should we choose renewable sources over non-renewable ones? So, there are plenty of reasons for this but the most important is that Non-renewable energy resources, like coal, nuclear, oil, and natural gas, are available in limited supplies. This is usually due to the long time it takes for them to be replenished. Renewable resources are replenished naturally and over relatively short periods of time. Now keeping their supplies aside the Initial costs for setting up renewable energy plants are often quite high and require careful planning and implementation. Governments worldwide are also recognizing that burning fossil fuels is changing the Earth's climate, increasing global average temperatures, causing unprecedented melting of polar sea ice and even raising sea levels. So, the communities need to identity the energy resources in their area and develop sustainable energy plans and in future there will be high demand of natural resources compare to the other ones.
As far now it is clear that we are going to use renewable energy resources but which resource will be the best. Although there are many types of energy, and as you know the most efficient forms are renewable: hydro-thermal, tidal, wind, and solar. Among all these solar energy has been proven to be the most efficient and effective among renewable energy sources for home and as well as for commercial use.
So a question will arise that Why should we only use solar energy?
Basically solar energy is generated by harnessing the rays of the sun. It is totally inexhaustible, unlike fossil fuels that are finite and does not emit any greenhouse gases while producing electricity. Even generating solar energy does not cause any kind of pollution and is efficient for both residential and commercial use. There are also benefits like it avoids global warming , reduces use of fossil fuels, reduces energy imports ,generates local wealth and jobs, contributes to sustainable development ,it is modular and very versatile, adaptable to different situations.
The sun provides energy in two different ways:
